These are the first four works in the NEW collection of original paintings on large sized canvas by artist Bobby K. Hill. These narrative pieces depicts adults and their inner child in different situations and stages in life. 

Each painting is created by hand using house paint and sometimes accents of screenprints on canvas. The large scale size of the works helps you, the viewer experience it in a different way than the smaller works Bobby has created most of his career. 

The canvases have been purposefully weathered and aged during the creation process. Bobby started creating this body of work in 2020 during the pandemic but put them away in storage for awhile in the beginning stages. They were brought back out and completed one by one for months at a time. 

 At first, he planned on screenprinting drawings of the images, but he found himself with time on his hands so he decided to actually paint each work from start to finish. Some were created by using reference photos put together in Photoshop to begin, while others were improvised from the beginning. All images were sketched in paint direct on the canvases.
